A. Schulman Inc. Limited of Crumlin, Newport have selected AIDC Solutions to replace their aging batch bar-coding and scanning solution. Schulman were keen that the basic look and feel remained the same as their existing system to minimise retraining but also wanted to take advantage of the exiting functionality AIDC could offer.

Oh, and they also needed the solution live within 4 weeks. AIDC delivered a solution built with TransitionWorks which enabled them to create transactions with the same look and feel as Schulman's old system but also provide significant added value.Using their Adapter for BPCS to integrate with Schulman's ERP system they had the solution deployed within 3 weeks, including the installation of radio terminals.
