The Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre in Halifax, West Yorkshire now offers secure 24 hour access for its tenant businesses courtesy of AIDC Solutions. Using our unique Access Control System which can authenticate Users by Fingerprint, Smartcard, PIN or any combination of the 3 the Centre can now offer its tenants safe access and egress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fingerprint information captured by the system is not held as an image but rather as an encrypted binary algorythm and to further eleviate apprehension in users the system can be setup to carry this data on the smartcard rather than have it held on a central server. The access unit also includes a built-in CMOS camera enabling optionally a snapshot to be taken at every entry attempt either successful or not.
